Scientific notation would be fine. Hexadecimal would be fine. I'd be delighted and maybe a little frightened if someone chose to work in Binary. Roman or Babylonian numerals would be fine. Use of other numbers and constants would work too. You want to bet the square root of pi times Avogadro's number? Sure, why not.

I will assume all bets to be in standard decimal unless otherwise specified, and I will be translating the standings into decimal at the end of each round.
