I think Isaac was suspiciously unwilling to lynch Stephen.

I have no particular problem with the fact that he kept his vote on Darth_Katie longer than others, rather my suspicions began with Scott Blademaster. The reasoning behind that lynch attempt was pretty weak, it mostly followed the "in the absence of someone likely to be scum, we should lynch whoever's death will least harm the town". Since that's not much of an accusation, it was also accompanied by statements indicating urgency, like we need the game to move on, win or lose it has now been approximately 70 days since the last game ended and this is day 2, that is too long. That's not an unsustainable position, it isn't like we had some obvious scummer running around and it still being Day 2, the town still has the feeling of having some leeway.
What does become problematic is that after Scott's death from modkill, he was utterly unwilling to consider lynching Stephen, even though some of the arguments he used against Scott also applied to Stephen - Stephen not being a frequent poster, the Day being overdrawn already - this quite apart from my own reasons for suspecting him, that his conviction of disbelieving in the gods of the state make him a dead ringer for our version of the scum. I am typically mistrustful of lore based accusations, otherwise I would have pressed his lynch more strongly, but it seems to me he was at least as strong a lynch candidate as Scott, yet Isaac was completely unwilling to consider him for our lynch.
Instead he voted for beetnemesis as an OMGUS, and pressed for ?'s lynch afterward, even before ? was caught lying.
This was what made me suspect Isaac originally, as you can read from my post yesterDay. That this suspicion has been revealed accurate doubles my suspicions of Stephen. Now granted, Isaac may have been trying to drag down a townie with him in case he died, but I see no reason for him to expect to die soon, and he seems quite genuine in his desire to pretend he was not giving Stephen any particular credit, so I would be quite willing to risk it.

The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
