That is pretty much the case, and let me make a few notes on that

I think we should also consider adding an "investigation failed" option, since it seems like pretty much all role actions are contingent on stat-based contests.
Actually, maybe we should add that option all the time to give the cop some cover in case of RB'ing.
Actually, maybe we should add that option all the time to give the cop some cover in case of RB'ing.
For the most part the defualt cop, tracker, watcher, etc would get back either the usual yes/no or 'Investigation failed' which is a tad different from 'investigation disrupted' which would generally apply to RBing and similiar, RBing being a fairly variable thing in this system anyway.
Most of the common roles have been adapted to either be a 1+RPS who win ties or represent a straight stat bonus. Not always though, I could get away with a lot of tweaking by, for instance, converting a BP or investigation immune character into someone who received anywhere from a +1 to on stat to a +6 (no character has less than 2 total attrib points so with 2 as the max in 4 attributes, +6 would max someone out) and those stats might be mod assigned or added to the player's pool of points, and their total might be pre-set or random... though most on the table were as follows:
Mr. Random Thug: 1- vanilla, 2- Light Buff, 3 - Med Buff, 4 Strong Buff, 5 - Goon Light Buff, 6 - Goon Strong Buff
With Light, Medium, and Strong being +1, +2, and +3 respectively. "Buff" replaced BP and Investigative immunity since they're effectively the same concept in this game. Mr. Thug isn't going to show up in a RM or PM as anything other than vanilla though it would be mentioned that their stats were inflated over the character's baseline, in this system though, they couldn't really be considered 'roled'.
That covers basically all the normal roles in their 'default mode'. Just to give a quick overview of some of the less common but known roles and how they'd convert:
Bus Driver: 2+RPS, must submit RPS for both targets by name, if either fails the switch doesn't occur
Siblings/lovers/linked: Each players original Defensive RPS is noted, should one character die, their RPS is applied to the survivor's Defensive RPS as follows:
. win: Avenge me! Surviving sibling gains a one shot 1+RPS NK
. tie: nothing
. lose: Suicide
Miller: Shows as guilty only on a successful tied copping, shows innnocent on a +1 or more copping success
Roleblocker Default: 1+RPS to block ability, knows if action is blocked, target knows if action was blocked
Roleblocker Alt 1 (Saboteur): Targets ability is reduced by 1 that night, dropping 1+RPS to 0+RPS, no RPS involved, neither RBer or target know result or effect.
Roleblocker Alt 2 (Hex ): Player has a pool of points, and on a given night may select an attribute, and can hit a number of players of their choosing equal to the points they wish to spend, along with a RPS for each, if the player has an action utilizing that attribute it is reduced by 1 for the night. Result unknown to all involved.
Roleblocker Alt 3: (Leech) No RPS involved, spends from pool to target a player, reducing chosen attributes for a duration of 24 hours
Assistant - acts exactly opposite of RBer1, the Saboteur
Amplifier - acts exactly opposite of RBer2 Hex
... and so on... virtually every role had 1 or more obvious conversions and the system naturally spawns several new roles, or items, a person might get a Ritual of Amplification or a Ritual of Hexing that acts as a one-shot. Lots of the weaker ones were ideal for items and rituals and the upcoming contest has a few such things as rewards to pick from [next contest is Thursday which means today, tomorrow, or Friday depending on how bus I end up being]
No one, incidentally, should assume such role are or aren't in the game, I think we can all comfortable assume I've WIFOM'd up those examples sufficiently to make speculation about who is what in this game off of them a rather futile endeavor, or offer any mod assisted role verification or refutations, fair warning
