For the moment, let us assume the normal setup, a fair number of townies in the form of Nobles, and a fair number of mafia scum, probably 3 maybe 4, in the form of Skaa rebels who likely began with full flavor covers but if not can certainly manufacture them fairly plausibly. I think we can also rule out the game 9 and 16 options of five or six effective sub-factions with a handful of infiltrators spread over them.
Two variables we probably need to account for, from the Mod, would be the form 'deathless' takes and any details he can yet provide on Auctions. For deathless, that could simply mean people 'die' by being exiled, no effective change, they are removed from the game, or it could mean some weakening or temporary or permanent loss of vote or ability. If the first, then it's not really important, effectively same old same old, if not, then it will likely impact how we proceed.
After that, I think we should probably consider resurrecting our random question list interrogation method. I thought that worked pretty well previously, certainly a more interesting method of going about things. This is the one where we built a list of ten or so questions, and everyone was randomly assigned one to answer and could decline that one by answering two of their choosing, and when that's done we decide if we want to do a second round or not, rinse and repeat.
