This is what I wrote:
By not pointing out that I had one myself, it might seem to a person who does not have a stimpack that he's not alone. If it is a cult we're dealing with and the cult leader doesn't have a stimpack, which is what we're assuming, the cult leader might want to look for others like him, to try not to stand out. (Slim chance, I know, as it would be better in this case for him to stay quiet, but you never know). The cult leader did not yet have a Night discussion with the new recruit (once again: assuming this is what we're dealing with), so the info on the stimpacks has not been shared within the cult yet. Tomorrow the chance will have passed.
What Isaac claims about the role of the Medic in prevention of the side effects corroborates with my role message. Although insomnia might not be too bad a side effect seeing what the Night can bring.
I will verify what my stimpack does if necessary, but preferably not as a discussion starter. It could help others claim that they have the same stuff. I want to hear from those who have not claimed to have a stimpack, if they have one and what they claim it does.
Interesting tidbit by Isaac:
App Isaac has a stimpack of some sort. Who else has one? What does it do? If this is indeed the Doc's role, does that mean we are not protected against a NK?
But in this game the doc apparently heals stimpack overuse, I'm assuming that's not just me with a stimpack that does something useful, so knowing who he has 'healed' could be useful... probably very much to the scum too.
