He smirked as he looked into the faces of the Marines. "I can see easily enough what passes for thoughts in your minds. How could I possibly be so certain of who was and was not Infested? After all, a subtle infestation might go unnoticed for days before advanced metamorphosis occurs. They could be anyone. They could be you! They could be me! They could even be-"

Flash was interrupted by a burst of metallic spikes ripping his skull apart. "What? it was obvious," said the Marine behind him. "'Sides, he was a pain in the ass. Watch, he'll start twitchin' again when it tries to regen'. Any second now."

The Marines gathered around Flash's corpse and watched.

"Any second now."

The Dominion agent failed to oblige.

"Aaaaaaaany second now...."
