The centralised government of the Empire makes the game mechanics pretty unfeasible, so it would have to be during the days of the Republic, that might be possible.

I'd prefer to do something with the StarCraft setting, since it is one of the sci-fi settings I am most familiar with, but I know many people here aren't.
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
