As mentioned, plenty of room for WIFOM, the basic moves are all so well known that you have to shake it up and do the unexpected to win, Fist, Yuna and I once bypassed to use our NK in order to fake an assassination attempt on me. Let me propose a scenario:

A Serial Killer wishes to be safe while killing, knowing that with their first kill the town and scum will move on them, they drop hints about a possible SK and are 'coerced' into admitting they are a firefighter. Now the town believes them, attempts to lynch them will be viewed as an indicator that person is the SK, and scum will not try to lynch or NK them since their protection only works against the SK, their enemy, the scum will not try to kill them but even likely work to keep them alive. All the while, like any doc, he struggles valiantly to find the SK (if an SK cop) or protect (if the classic SK doc version) or protect everyone else form him. And all the while he's murdering them left and right.
