View original postAlso, one thing that bears mentioning about fake names... as you said, I would expect the mafia to have figured out they all had themed names during the Night (which is why I wasn't sure it would pay off) but if they prepared their fake names during the night, their only reference would be George Brown. This would lead me to suspect colour-based names more than job-based names. Then again, Yunalesca got caught unaware, so maybe they were unprepared and had both names to refer to. Still, the only two to have claimed job-related names are ranagrande and myself, both of which, I am sure you will agree, are likely to have spotted this early, especially if we were scum and had teammates' names to select from.

The problem with the job/color lead is that it is a good fake name claim because it is a very probable name patterns. We're not actually randomly named after all, the Mod presumably made them all up and could easily have fallen into a pattern, in fact it would be strange if he didn't.
