Into the depths. Fanatic-Templar Send a noteboard - 10/01/2010 10:54:44 PM
After being deprived of their weapons, Sammil and Delat are brought into the Fortress, surrounded by Children of the Light. After passing through a few open halls and corridors patrolled by Children and servants, the Inquisitor leads you down a flight of stairs and into the dungeons. Here, there aren't so much as arrow slits to provide light or fresh air, and your path is illuminated only by wall mounted torches, their fire failing to provide warmth or comfort.

Your first stop is what you imagine must be the warden's office. Here, the Children leave you in the custody of the Hand of the Light, and they hurry to return to the surface, apparently none too comfortable with this place. Before they go, however, they give the Inquisitor everything they found on you. "A uniform, a few concealed knives, and nothing more. How unsurprising, for Darkfriends. No personal possessions, no money. Joshun, bring me the lists. Let's have a look at you, yes?"

The Inquisitor removes his wet cloak and hangs it on a wall, then lights a lamp which he raises to your faces, Sammil first, then Delat. The man examines you closely muttering to himself, suddenly, as he was examining Delat, he appears to notice something and shoves his fingers into Delat's scalp. He grabs a handful of hair, pushes your head down and sticks his nose into your hair, sniffing loudly.

The Inquisitor pulls your head back, looking thoughtful. He sucks at his fingers a bit, before saying "White henpepper. Hum, and I'll wager that scar is fake too, yes? Joshun, give me that!" he continues muttering to himself as he reads through scrolls of the Children of the Light's wanted individuals. "No... no... maybe... no, no... Well, we'll have to see once you've been cleaned up. Unless you want to confess first?" He looks at you expectantly.

Delat has failed a Bluff skill check: 2+8=10 vs. DC unknown.
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
