She calls down a bird to fetch Kraklaw.
"It will not take him long to come. He travels quickly. Giba, does the earth give any insight as to what may come?"
Giba shrugs, "The earth only warned that those who are not of its blood may be influenced. I can afford some protection to the humans when Kraklaw arrives."
A few minutes later, Kraklaw drifts down out of the sky. He makes his way to Yyrees and Giba, "Greetings, Song Sister. The birds tell me you require a Binding?"
Giba nods, "Yes, brother. Are you prepared?"
Kraklaw draws aside his stole, revealing the great number of different crystals dangling from his neck. "Yes. go go."
"First, the humans. Please do not move."
She rumbles to the earth, which moves tendrils of soil up the legs of all the non-Animas in the ruins. They do not hold them down firmly, but have a comforting warmth and weight. It seems the earth will do its part to shield them from any corrupting influences that may arise.
Giba sinks her fingers into the earth and calls up the Ward once more. As it rises, Yyrees shifts on her feet. Something does not feel right, but she cannot decide what. The sphere rises much faster this time, and soon it is floating above the earth. An unholy red light shines from cracks and in the earthen prison and a bright aura is seen emanating from the back.
Kraklaw shrieks in pain and clamps his feathered hands around his head. Giba breaks out in a sweat and sways. The sphere quickly spins around, revealing the backside of the Ward has been blown away. The light pulses and a voice rises from it.
"Hello, beasts. I heard this lovely legend about a powerful Ward and I simply had to have it. Goodbye!" The light explodes outward, filling the ruins in a flash of light.
The scouting party of the boar folk immediately falls upon themselves, brawling and slashing each other with their tusks.
The Earth rises up quickly and swallows Giba in a blanket of soil to keep her from the magick influence, but Kraklaw and Yyrees are saved only by their own practiced wills. They shake their heads wildly to clear the angry red fog and turn to the humans. Most magicks that affect Animas' instinctual drives do so ten fold for the humanoids. As the fog lifted from their eyes, they hoped it would not show their comrades skewered on each others swords.
