He mentioned freeform RPGs. How do these work, and how is one to start one?


If he's talking about what I'm thinking about, then it's like one big, collective story. You have your character, and you write a little bit about what's going on from their point of view, and then other people respond withe their character's actions etc etc. Does that make sense?

Like you write, for instance, you write:

"Bob was so tired after his day of killing Trollocs. It was such hard work but he really enjoyed it. Blah blah blah. Bob walked through the Blight carefully, on the lookout for trouble, suddenly a thousand trollocs appeared and he started to KILL THEM ALL. Despite his awesomeness, he began to call for help."

And then I repsond:

"Janice heard shouts and ran in that direction, so on and so forth blah blah blah I have to go to class now. ;)"

And then so on and so forth.

F-T, is that the sort of thing you were talking about? Napoleon, does that make sense? :D
