For starters, it gives us something to talk about on Day 1 of some actual substance, which is always nice, and then it adds an extra element of strategy to the game. I'm all for that. 
And talking about scenarios ... those all sound great, but I'm going to have to vote against the Dune one since I haven't read it yet and am unlikely to by Wednesday.
