Easily the best since the season opener. The thing about the statues and the two heads was pretty obvious as soon as they mentioned that something was wrong, but "perception filter" seems to be their hocus pocus plot workaround for stuff like that.

I'm quite looking forward to the next one. I assume blowing up a gravity ball causes the gravity to go wonky, allowing them to "fall" up to the ship's wreckage (which looked a lot further than 30 feet up to me, but hey).

This is the first one where the new Doctor really struck the right chord for me. I hope this bodes well for future episodes. Amy Pond, of course, remains remarkably cute, even though they overplay that sometimes in how they have her act. I'm glad she's intelligent and competent when she has to be, to offset that childlike quality.
