Loved the beginning. Loved the idea of the Doctor visiting museums to keep "score".
Didn't understand why it took so long for the Doctor to figure out that the statues couldn't be representative of the inhabitants of Alfava Metraxis. Two heads and all.
Liked the world building of that millennium. I'm always curious about the millennium in which Jack Harkness came from. Intrigued by what the Church came to be.
All in all, a great episode. Looking forward to next week's conclusion. And really looking forward to less than two weeks now for Vampires in Venice.

It has the potential of being very good or very bad. At least it is a new type of monster. Although their teeth remind me very much of the first monster this season.
