We'll see. I hope if it happens it's done well. j-whitt987 Send a noteboard - 01/05/2010 03:13:33 AM
Ron Howard has signed on to direct three films based on Stephen King's DARK TOWER saga, which would then spin off into a TV series. It's unclear if the movies would cover all seven books and then switch to all-new adventures on TV, or if the films would only adapt the first three books and then switch to TV for the last four.

JJ Abrams was previously developing a seven-season TV project with his LOST cohorts, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, but they decided not to proceed after spending six seasons working non-stop on LOST.

I enjoyed the series too much to see it butchered. I just don't see how 3 movies would do it justice. And then to have it switched to a TV show with a much lower budget? I don't see that being very good.
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.
