I think it has potential but, the network is pushing it to do too much already. They're already pushing into the counter agency conspiracy realm. I think they need to let it stick to the basics for a while, note strange occurences, find artifact, little sexual tension wrap the show. Do that for a while and drop hints as to the existence of other counter-agents. Once the show is rooted then they can fully develop that realm.
