I tried a year or two ago, and tried again recently, but I can't seem to get into it. I read some of the episode summaries to see if the first ones were just boring, but. . .eh. There aren't many that sound remotely interesting. "Alien takes over body to infiltrate base." "SG-1 investigates a meaningless planet full of sexist natives." "Team contracts disease, and must cure it."

/sigh.

All the season summaries sound so awesome, but the interesting bits are so diluted between episodes that (from my limited sampling) the individual shows aren't worth watching. I think I might try to just pick and choose the interesting episodes, and only watch those. See if I can follow what's going on based on 3-4 shows per season. If that doesn't work, I might give Atlantis a try.

Anyway, I'm in the same boat. Thanks for giving me a chance to complain.
