First: It is growing on me. Perhaps due to some intensive viewing yesterday and today. I still find it laughable that all the alien worlds somehow speak English.

But what really had me in stitches was this:

O'Neill replies

"Since when, sir?"

And, what set me giggling, considering this was filmed about 10 years ago give or take, was the reply:

"Since this administration was elected."
