Prisoner of Azkaban was Alfonso Cuaron, who also did the excellent Children of Men.
(The difference perhaps being that he got to be writer and director for Children of Men, but only director for Harry Potter.)

Tim Burton would suck, Cuaron is ok, Jackson makes the most sense. *NM*

I thought Benicio del Toro was leaving. Whew! He's still in the project, right? *NM*

Glad to hear he still is. He needed something after that awful movie, Che.

I bet the Hobbit will be made into a movie long before GRRM's aDwD comes out. -_- *NM*

Isn't he the idiot to blame for Prisoner of Azkaban? Good riddance. *NM*

No, del Toro is Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy.

So he's made one good movie and one atrocious one.

I haven't seen Hellboy.

I'm sure he meant Pan's Labyrinth was the good one. Hellboy sucked big floppy donkey dicks. *NM*

PoA was better than the movies after it, surely.

Disagree. PoA was better than tCoS, but that's because Chamber was a travesty of a novel.

How can you claim it's better than the later movies?

It's funny how people can't agree on this ever

Because I liked Order of the Phoenix a lot.

It's funny how your opinion is the exact opposite of Darth Katie's.

Bellatrix and Luna are my least favorite parts of the Harry Potter movies.

The Batman comic hasn't been for children since at least the 80s. The Dark Knight definitely wasn't.

I happen to think Prisoner of Azkaban is the only good HP movie made, yet. *NM*

I liked the scenery, which was bland in the first two films. HBP was my fave Potter film, though *NM*
