It's funny how your opinion is the exact opposite of Darth Katie's. Legolas Send a noteboard - 04/06/2010 10:22:28 AM
PoA was on par with GoF, and of course better than HBP (absolute travesty), but I really liked OotP. Wonderful musical score, great cinematography, managed to keep to most of the themes of the book if not all of the events (which most of the movies have utterly failed to do).

I probably would have to re-watch the latest movies - I think the first three are the only ones I've seen more than just the one time in the cinema. Possibly GoF too. But OotP and HBP, I only remember the first time in the cinema, and being seriously disappointed in both cases, despite some notable positive points (Bellatrix, Luna, certain action scenes). And I've never been able to forgive GoF for cutting out the Quidditch World Cup final. I mean, come on.

PoA was better than the movies after it, surely. - 02/06/2010 08:36:14 PM 1004 Views
Disagree. PoA was better than tCoS, but that's because Chamber was a travesty of a novel. - 03/06/2010 01:32:31 AM 917 Views
