That was scary. But then we have already established that I am easily scared.
I did not like the Doctor when he played football. Having recently seen him play cricket, I must say I prefer that version to this. And not just because it is football. I know little of the game, but it seemed to me he was rather selfish in his playing style.
He was quite selfish, but I wouldn't say it was out of character, we know he tends to ignore people when excited about something. And he was certainly competitive and willing to play all roles in that cricket match.
And it is not my favourite episode. The premises were a little ... underexplained.
I'd've liked a little more information about that ship, especially who was behind it etc, but I don't think it was ever intended to be the focus of the story really. More of a "let's have fun with The Doctor before the big finale" which was fine with me.
But we did get the ring into play, which has me very excited. And it seemed to have an effect on the crack.
That had me a little worried for the two in the flat, I shan't lie.
And the next episode looks VERY exciting. I hope there is something new in the box. Not just cybermen.
I get the feeling there will be, they seemed to be touting the contents as superior to Daleks, Cybermen etc. Although I'll admit that I can't have been watching properly, my mind is fuzzy.
And the flashforward which was also a flashback, to the first episode, reminded me of what I had not noticed at the time -- that prisoner zero actually mentions the Pandorica.
