I haven't seen the original, but I found the whole set up and storytelling wonderfully scary and unpleasant to watch. Her climbing out of the TV didn't do anything for me, though. I find the connection of new technology and horror doesn't work. Had she climbed out of an old photograph or painting....


I mean, maybe if it had been a BluRay ... :P I thought the climbing out of the tv thing was cool though. A bit diminished, perhaps because I knew what was going to happen, but I dunno if it would have worked as well with a photo or a painting.


The Blair Witch Project, although I hate that film at the same time.


I've never seen that movie. Why do you love/hate it?
