I enjoyed it an awful lot, from the brilliant intro (did anyone else just go "Whaaaaat?" when Amy appeared?) to the time-jumping madness to us finally, finally, reaching a situation in which there are a couple of companions and it doesn't feel unbalanced/unfair/uncomfortable. Which never happened in RTD's run and I was beginning to worry mightn't happen here. The three of them standing around the console, rather than Rory in the background, was brilliant.
I agree. The multiple companions thing is something I like about Old Who, and it is something which makes continuity easier to deal with if one disappears without the other. Of course, that is not going to happen with Amy and Rory, but I am glad there is now a good precedent in New Who.
And I love that there's a plot thread being carried over into the next series. It was also nice to have this Big Episode essentially being one of doing a "patch job", albeit a fairly ginormously massive one, rather than fighting some big bad. The Doctor fixing is always more fun than The Doctor fighting.
I agree. Doctor fixing is The Best.
(Edit: I know this is written terribly. I refuse to fix it. Effervescent energy and all that.)

She then told it her name, and asked it to check its records.
