On Friday begins The Vampire diaries. A series based on novels by L.J. Smith. Never really heard of those books. I saw the trailer on tv.com before the summer. I think I'll give it a chance since I'm rather tired of True Blood, maybe this can give me my bloodlust back.
However it does sound a bit much like that vampire film where a girl falls in love with a vampire that I can't remember the name of.

I'm already quite tired of the vampire trend lately. It's overdone and unoriginal anymore.
And this show doesn't look even as good as the books and the books are.... fodder for a campfire
