I seriously love seeing Cannoli posts because he almost always makes some very good points if you can not let personal biases get in the way and can sort out his own personal biases (see: Egwene).
What biases? How can I be biased against Egwene? She exists ONLY in the pages of WoT. My criticism of her is based solely on an assessment of her actions and opinions described therein. That is not bias, that is making a judgment. What biases do I have that are expressed in my opinions? Biases against evil or wrongdoing? Aren't those supposed to be universal?

I'm not really disagreeing much with this one, other than to point out that Sam isn't a werewolf; he's a shifter. You'll get the real werewolves later.
Potato, potahto. It's not much of a defense to say "No, he's not a werewolf, he's actually something lamer."

I do have one question for you though: Do you actually enjoy anything? Through all the years of lurking here/wotmania, I don't recall you ever having a positive review/response to a book/movie.

Well, you missed my positive responses to Robin Hood, Ninja Assassin and Death Troopers. Most of the time, someone else has already written a positive review so I don't bother. It is when I feel that something is getting excessive or unwarranted praise that I step in. I do the same against unwarranted criticism, too, and IMO I am far more often the lone voice defending someone or something than the only critic.
