I do wish that they had had a little more fun with the doctor's character. First, I really wanted to know more about his past crimes.
That's true. Why did the group now question his presence much sooner? If he had been there to fix them for a longer hunt, it would have made sense. But as it is, there had to be more about him.
How great would it have been if the doctor's brand of predatory behavior had proven effective not against a human woman but against the predators themselves? What if he had poisoned those predators with the neurotoxin for example?
heh yeah that would have been cool.
Lastly, I was wanting more backstory overall on all the characters.
yeah, I was thinking the same. it only would have needed 2, 3 strong scenes for everyone to give them a tad more background, maybe Lost style? I was thinking throughout the film how awesome it would be to have the Lost writers map out these characters, so you'd actually care for them to survive.
