*Buffy at its best. It's AWESOME. Drinking blood isn't sexy. It's actually very scary. The show has some seriously creepy moments. And its pacing is unmatched by anything else I've seen. Things keep happening. A cool mystery/tension/problem is set up, then resolved in the next two eps, uncovering a new, even cooler one. Also - beautiful people. OMG. Whether you like girls or boys, the pretty doesn't stop.
You know how Firefly sounded dull "western space opera? blah? Yet turned out to be awesome? Vampire Diaries is like that. The pilot is not so great, on the slow side, but it gets going. I'm going to get this seris on DVD so I can watch all of it again.
