It has some really good episodes but also some trully dire ones. It's worth watching but don't expect it to set your world alight. At times it seems to indulge in nakedness and sex scenes because it can rather than because they make sense.
The third season Children of Earth (only five episodes long and broadcast one day after the other) is very good and if they can keep up that standard in the new season I'd be very happy.
I'd start with Doctor Who, it's much better.

I don't think I've ever seen a show where I've loved every episode. As long as the proportion of good episodes outways the bad ones, I'll stick with it.
I have reversed my watching and started down the Dr. Who path first now, thanks to advice from the board. So far so good.
So, I just started watching Torchwood. Easy question inside.
