I thought Americans simply ignored all films not in English 
But I have seen a fair number on DVD, and I much prefer subtitles to dubbed.
Subtitles are the superior choice.

But that's interesting that it's taking so long. I wonder if it's related to the fact that apparently the film had a really crappy opening weekend comparatively.
Hmm, no they announced that a while ago already. They certainly don't expect it to do really well over here, with no really big stars and the odd geeky subject. It probably also has to do with what other films are starting these weeks, but it still feels pretty random to make it January instead of, say, September.
Huh, yeah that is kind of weird.
