Did anyone see it yet? What were your thoughts?
It was a decent movie. I saw it at Matinee prices, and I am glad I did.
First, the animation is frelling fantastic. The visuals were just gorgeous through out the entire thing. The music was superbly done. It never got in the way but subtly influenced the scenes, the way it should.
The story was alright. A bit predictable for me, but that is not uncommon when I watch movies. The ending was satisfying.
The movie is much darker than American Animations usually are, so that was a HUGE plus for me. It was more adult without sex/swearing. This might be the movie that opens the doors for adult stories in animations.
