It's actually a really interesting look at group dynamics in apocalyptic situations. The comic is very dark, people will die, people will kill other people, not just zombies. The comic is awesome, if the tv show is done right, which I'm not sure it can be on A&E, or any basic cable network, it should be great.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
