But Russel Brand in anything involving booze sounds hilarious, so I couldn't care less. :D

Also, he seemed plenty endearing, in a very confused and screwed up sort of way in Get him to the Greek, which is the only movie with him I've really seen... Aside from that Adam Sandler crap, with the bedtime stories, but I only half watched that and really didn't care for it. Not Brand's fault though.

But yeah, I never saw the original, so I can't possibly get any desecration vibes from this.
