I know that Alan Moore was upset with the production and pulled his name from the project.....any reasons why? As I mentioned before, it was pretty faithful to the source material.

Alan Moore never associates himself with movie versions of his work. I don't recall hearing him saying anything specific about this one, it's just how he rolls.
