but it just didn't work. Their one and only chance at a good prequal series would have been somthing to do with the First Cylon War. Only they shouldn't have gone *anywhere* near Adama or characters which are already established. No where near.

If anything, they should have picked a group of soldiers and followed them through the war. Battles, conflicts, and the psychological aspect of war and how it relates to the soldiers and their relationships with their fellow soldiers, officers, and family back home.

I'm thinking a Band of Brothers/ The Pacific....only in space. If they had the same level of writing as they did for Season 1 of BSG, they could have worked in a few things here and there that would have been good.
