Especially in the pen episode, if you look closely, you can SEE a monkey hand steal Annie's pen in the corner of the screen.


The gimmicky stuff was kind of entertaining, but I feel like Season 2's gimmicks focused too much on the gimmicks.

That is to say, the buddy-cop movie, or the paintball of Season One focused on a lot of character interaction, using the gimmick as a backdrop. The space shuttle episode of season 2, however, pretty much just focused on the space shuttle (and Pierce going insane, which was meh. He was great in the pen episode, though)

With the pen episode, and the blanket fort episode, it focused again on characters, with the gimmick as a backdrop. Hope they keep it up.


(Also, I'm really happy they're bringing back some Jeff/Annie sexual tension again. Yes, there's an age difference, but the way it was dealt with in the first episode of Season 2 was just... hamfisted.)
