as if rewriting large sections of the trilogy wasn't bad enough, now peter jackson wants to bring back these two to fill in places in the hobbit when their characters weren't even part of the story to begin with. 
i mean, i guess legolas can be slipped in to the mirkwood storyline seeing as he comes from there but i'm having a hard time finding a place to put galadriel. but then, as many problems as this film has had even getting to this point, i'm sure there will be more revelations of this nature until the thing finally arrives in theaters....
