Okay, I realize most people have probably not yet seen the last five episodes (as AFAIK they have only been aired in Canada so far), but I myself have seen them(through some slightly illegitimate means) and something has occurred to me.

So, I'll give a few lines for those wary of spoilers...

Okay, that should be good enough.

First of all, we finally know why little Willie Adama didn't have blue eyes like Eddie Olmos' William Adama did; they aren't the same person. Thing is, I still could not figure out how young Bill Adama ended up with blue eyes either; neither Joe Adama nor his girlfriend (played by Teryl Rothery) have blue eyes.

Second, it seems apparent that they must have reshot or at least re-edited the end of the final episode ("Apotheosis" to bring the show to somewhat more of a conclusion then it probably was supposed to be.

The biggest surprise to me was seeing a skin job version of Zoe so early in the BSG story line.

But for me, the biggest surprise was seeing young Bill Adama and his blue eyes. It got me thinking about Leoben's comment to Laura Roslin back in the first season of BSG, a comment that we all thought was a lie.

"Adama is a cylon."

Mayhaps he was/is. Perhaps the Doctors Graystone built a skin job (SJ) of Willie Adama for Joe, but never downloaded into it Willie's memories and personality. Perhaps this SJ of Bill was created as a blank slate, at a young age. Perhaps this SJ, and the Zoe one as well, were more like the 13th colony type SJs, and age naturally. Perhaps the reason for little Bill Adama's blue eyes was that was the only available eyes the Graystones had when they put Bill together after crafting Zoe.

Just an idea, any thoughts?
