Seriously, the difference is so astounding that I'm nearly rendered speechless when people say this. And you're not the first, nor the 3rd I've heard this from.

It's weird, because every time a friend mentions this, I ask him/her over to my house and show them the difference, and the issue is never raised again.

Either your vision has become impaired (not likely), OR

You've got a technical issue (very likely) OR

You're simply being contrarian (somewhat likely)
