True, but it still nags me because it's a laptop. Obviously we don't know the specs of this particular laptop, but I find it hard to believe that it's powerful enough to control six or seven highly sophisticated Cylons. If he broke into his lab at work then I could buy him using a supercomputer, but a laptop is stretching even my suspended disbelief.
I'm not sure the correlation you're assuming between the power of the controlling device and the power of the controlled device is sound. As long as the laptop could send signals wirelessly (which it has to do in order to connect to wireless Internet), Graystone would be able to access any back doors he left in the Cylons' code. Once he activated the subroutines he wanted them to run and sent them the target information, they would coordinate themselves just as they were shown to do (the more heavily armored Cylon directed the others).
