I tend to be a little behind the times. Has anyone told me to see this show? If not, why? It is lovely!

I rarely laugh out loud from television comedy. I often find things funny, but there is some way from that to the laughing out loud. I have seen 8 episodes of this show now, and each one has had me laughing -- not snickering or giggling, but full body laughing.

I have never been a major Shatner fan (never got the deal with Kirk), but he is excellent. I have always been a James Spader fan, and things look like they will stay that way. I do find the shocked/thinking/tearyeyed expression of the blonde woman annoying, and none of the other women really appeal to me (although I know Candice Bergen will show up later). But I am thoroughly entertained.

So. Why didn't anyone tell me to see this?
