I used to like him, and now he's just gross.

I mean, I only saw the first two episodes and missed the rest, probably never bother to catch up now, but I wonder how they ruined such a likable character?


That they switched gears and made him less about wanting to give the kids the opportunity to shine and be happy and more about using the club (and the kids) to feed his own ego and give him opportunities to perform.

He also doesn't have the viewer sympathy anymore now that his awful wife is out of the picture.
