Both the prequel and the first season got stronger as they progressed. The final 2 episodes of the prequel lived up to expectations and delivered some amazing scenes.
Without going into details and providing spoilers, I love some of the potential stories that we could see in season 2 based on the ending of the prequel. Should be great.
I will give both Camelot and Game of Thrones a try. Happily.
