They replaced Andy Whitfield with Liam McIntyre. Next Season should air in January 2012. Hopefully the new lead handles it well, I loves this show.
I hope so too. Whitfield was pretty good in the first season. We'll just have to see if the new guy can do as well. I don't remember seeing this announced, so thanks for the info. John Hannah and Lucy Lawless were really my favorite characters. Twisted and evil, but fun to watch.
And according to wikipedia the new title is Spartacus : Vengeance. Hmm sounds kinda lame.
I was skeptical with Gods of the Arena as a title too!
