She was an amazing actress, and I always remember "Cleopatra" as one of the few examples of a certain era of movies that had a strong female lead. I was always thinking that Elizabeth Taylor was who RJ had in mind when he conceived of Lanfear.
A young Elizabeth Taylor would've made a great Lanfear!
I feel so odd now. Even from my youngest years, as a child, I was always aware of Taylor & Burton, and now they're both gone...
Cleopatra is also one of my favorite films too...
