Is it only Leviathans who are capable of starburst? That was my impression, which is why they are a big deal. How do other ships in the Farscape universe get around? They must be able to travel faster-than-light.
Unique to Rockne's "space whales," yes. Apparently, their ftl is measured in something like "hetch." All the ships on the show can do that, but some have more than others. They give numbers to indicate how fast, and we can only assume the distances are really big.
Starburst is a semi-random jump.

It's cheaper to breed ships than build em, IMO, & Talyn will grow, so those weapons will get bigger. *NM*
