Casting announcements for Season 2 are expected to be made after S1 finishes airing. We don't have confirmation Salladhor is in it - he's a fairly disposable character in the overall scheme of things - but if so it'll be for Season 2.

Other S2 characters to be cast include Stannis, Melisandre, Davos, Brienne, Edmure Tully, Roose Bolton and probably a few others.

At the moment it's looking increasingly likely that Brynden the Blackfish has been cut. He's not in S1 and his role is taken up by other characters. HBO also don't show him on their version of the Tully family tree.
