You mean without Neil Gaiman? I think so, although perhaps to a lesser extent. I confess to watching Confidential with added interest this week.

Did you completely miss the marvellous play with the Doctor-myth? The delicious surroundings? The wonderful lines?

What Dr Myth was that then? That he stole the Tardis?

We already knew he stole it, but now we know the Tardis had a hand in that.

A junkyard in green light. It's hardly original, considering they delayed this episode a year due to needing the budget to film this... And the inside of the tardis chase stuff looked like a sequence out of Galaxy Quest.


I do wonder about the budget. It did not look terribly expensive. Perhaps the added time went into rewriting because the budget could not be met. Hence cheap monster++

And speaking of the delay, the inclusion of Rory really didn't sit overly well with Gaimans original vision apparently. Would be interesting to have seen the correct version.


I am sure the script for that would sell rather well. I hope they put it up at some point/make it public/something.

Finally i did say the dialogue was okay, but too little of it, all happening too fast. Too much to cram into a 45min episode.


I agree. It would have been good as a double :P

And really finally, the Rory deaths are annoying, particularly as i liked him to start with. I guess we have to assume he isn't meant to exist anymore, and his recreation was wrong.


That is a good reading. Perhaps the universe is trying to tell them something.
