I am not overly familiar with Thor, but I have read a few of his comic books and some Avengers story arcs. I was surprised that I thought this movie was enjoyable in a way that "Iron Man", "Fantastic Four" and the "X-Men" movies weren't! He felt like a superhero and they did a great job giving him a sense of majesty and power!
