Let me start with saying, I haven't read the books yet, but I did read a detailed summary of book 2. There doesn't seen to be too much important Wall/White Walkers/Snow stuff that happens. What do you think? If yes, the writers may need to take some timeline liberties to beef up this arc in season 2.

Good point. The prologue kinda made people think that's one of the main points of the show, when it isn't really for another 3 seasons or so (and even then a rather minor one). But then again they can't just make up stuff just for TV.

I think it will become a major point and I'm not to sure this fits with the people getting what they deserve. Remember that eventually the starks become pretty evil to, and we only know from the point of view of the winners anything about the old king...can they really be trusted as narrators?

It is pretty obvious to me at least that the white walkers can only be defeated by the dragons and Dany will eventually have to become queen, wether she deserves it or not. Her son is the prince that was promised after all.

I enjoyed this episode very much, the sex scene didn't bother me it will be interesting to see how things develop..
